The Cattle Raisers Museum was established in 1980 to preserve and perpetuate the heritage of the livestock industry in Texas and the Southwest. The Museum offers self-guided and docent tours of its 8,000 square feet of exhibits. Popular displays include the Leonard Stiles Branding Iron Collection, the Ken Spain Saddle Collection, and the Joe Russell Spur Collection.

If you like cowboys and the wild, wild West come to the Cattle Raisers Museum. Here you will encounter men like Charles Goodnight and Captain Richard King... men who built some of the most famous ranches in history. Here too, you will meet Special Texas Rangers who have been catching cattle thieves for more than 100 years.

Learn about the development of the cattle and ranching industry in Texas and the Southwest at the Cattle Raisers Museum. Interactive exhibits, mannequins, artifacts, and a theater presentation will transport you to the open range. From cattle barons and cowboys to rustlers, Special Texas Rangers, and even longhorns, the real West begins at the Cattle Raisers Museum.
