Michaels opened on West 7th Street March 9, 1992.  The Fort Worth Weekly, The Fort Worth Star Telegram, and The Dallas Morning News have rated Michaels as one of the best restaurants in Fort Worth.  Michaels is proud to be one of Fort Worth's premier cultural district restaurants.

The Ancho Chile Bar is "cigar friendly" and home of "The Fraternal Order of Gar" (F.O.G.).  F.O.G. is a group of cigar aficionados, both women and men who come to enjoy a fine smoke in the place voted in the Fort worth Weekly, and in the Dallas Observer as "The Best Place to Smoke a Cigar in the Metroplex" The Ancho Chile Bar menu is available all day, and features the Michaels lunch and dinner menus, as well as bar snacks, desserts, cocktails, premium cordials, and wines.  The Ancho Chile Bar is "The Place" Fort Worth meets friends before and after a show, the rodeo, and several social functions in town.
