The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is planning a Memorial and Remembrance Ceremony on September 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Museum. We are honored to have Mayor Mattie Parker, along with representatives from the Fort Worth Police and Fire Departments and American Airlines crew members, joining us for this meaningful occasion.

The Museum is also home to the largest 9/11 artifact in the state of Texas, a steel beam from the North Tower that supported floors 101–103 above the impact zone. This extraordinary artifact serves as a powerful reminder of the lives affected by September 11th and the courage and sacrifice demonstrated that day.

As we mark this significant 25th anniversary, we will come together to remember those we lost, honor the first responders and heroes who served, and reflect on the enduring spirit of service, resilience, and unity that emerged from one of the most defining moments in our nation’s history.

It would be an honor to have you with us as we commemorate 25 years and ensure that the stories and memories of September 11th continue to be remembered by future generations.
